26 Saturday. James at sundries in morn:, quarry drain till about 10 o'C, then house oats, wheat & peas; Tom draw drift wood for George in morn:, bind wheat for a start, cart in oats, wheat & peas; Tooley finish cradle do_ in morn:, cradle oats till near 10 o'C, then quarry drain; Jackson at sundries in morn:, finish bind & stuke Scotch wheat about 9 o'C, fill up stump-holes in new land; Griffin at sundries in morn:, then quarry drain; George at sundries in garden & about house, help lump up 1 load peas & stow it away_ Self at sundries & see too things till about 10 o'C, then help stow away oats & wheat__

30 Wednesday. James at home; Tom chop & pile young pines till dinner, cart in wheat & peas; Tooley help
ring pigs in morn:, clean up wheat & cart in wheat
till dinner, chop & pile young pines; Griffin help ring

from new land, then pull out & pile stabs in
Ws corner; Tooley, Griffin & Jackson grind up &
pile under-brush; George at sundries & help in
Gristmill till noon, split wood, churn & about sundries again____ Self work Gristmill for about 2 hours A.M.
