6 Saturday. James about sundries in morn - , notch down bunks till dinner, work Sawmill & at sundries, Griffin not here___ Self weigh out flour & pork in morn - , notch bunks till dinner, put 2 buffaloes & 2 coats in cash, hoop-iron post of bars at Mill hill____

7 Sunday. M rs Greene to dinner, Self to A. Smith's in afternoon__

8 Monday. James draw Edward's logs to mill in morn - then make Churchfield fence pig-tight & put up 3 d logs, Griffin notch down bunks & help with 3 d logs____ John Major roll logs to Mill in morn - , split up & pile the pine left by Rider, then split hardwood junks in yard & fix up the pile____ Self at fence__

9 Tuesday. James pile boards in morn - , to the woods for cedars to make pickets for fence & crosscut them by dinner, then bag up wool, help sweep 2 chimney's & at sundries, Griffin at sundries in morn - , pile boards till near dinner, then at dung-heap, Major pile boards in morn - , at dung-heap & help cross-cut logs for pickets till dinner, then at dung-heap again___ Self yoke up rams in morn - , at sundries & look at new chopping till dinner, attend to wool & see to chimey's____
