x-cut a log dry pine, split it up, saw hard-wood,

George fodder cattle &c, help with straw &c________

Self to Ottawa about girls, Charley came up____

3 Sunday. Con - & John came up about noon,

charley & Do went back in the even g ___

4 Monday. James about horse in morn - ,

bring up wash g water with

the horse (1 st time this winter), clean

out stables &c, empty & refill ash

barrel, dust horse stable windows,

wash pleasure sleigh & the Cutter____

5 Tuesday. James about horses in morn - , cut some

bushes, draw 2 loads across & leave a 3 d load at

foot of hill by dinner, then draw it over & help

cut & load bushes till dinner, bring back the horse,

then saw wood, Payne help bush road________

Self up lake road after breakfast in cutter for Payne,

change harness, help draw 1 load, then bush road_____

6 Wednesday. James about horses in morn - , help finish bush g road,

at sundries & to the woods for a drag of pine before dinner,

at do again & X-cut the log, George about cattle &c,

saw wood & help do do____ Fred came about

breakfast time, thrash wheat______ Self fodder cows in

morn - , finish bush g road, rig a place to hold hay for lame

yearlings in fattening pigs house by dinner, the to Benny's______

7 Thursday. James about horses in morn - , draw in a drag for

-straw, then at sundries, George fodder cattle morn - &

even g help down with hay, saw wood & at sundries____

Fred finish trash Siberian wheat & thrash some oats____

Self to Ottawa , took one girl to catch another, also

took Miss Dyer down_______________________

8 Friday. James about horses in morn - , at sundries & clean

parlour chimney till dinner, then clean up wheat

George fodder cattle morn - & even g , at sundries,

help sweep chimney & help at wheat_____ Self at sundries___

9 Saturday. James about horse in morn - , saw

wood for a start, put horse s too sleigh,

to the woods for a drag dry pine, finish

clean-up wheat & put it in Mill by dinner,

then draw a load straw & a load have to Cow-loft,

George fodder cattle morn - , & even g saw wood,

help clean up wheat, & help with straw & hay______

Self to Aylmer to see about a man_________________

10 Sunday. Rob t here before dinner, Mary to Aylmer church

with her Aunt Anna in M r Smith' sleigh____________

11 Monday. James about horses in morn - , bring up water for

washing, clean out Cow-house &c, thrash oats till dinner,

then at sundries for a start, thrash oats till sunset, make a

little drain at back door & help do up the things, Geo v rge fodder

cattle & feed pigs in morn - , then off home in a pet__________
