James work Sawmill, Muldoon about horses & pile lumber in morn - , plough grass land___ Griffin sift peas in morn - , do do do____ George fodder cattle &e, & help pile boards in morn - , then to the post, & dig about rasp - bush - Self at sundries & paint harrow by 11½ o'C, then get something to eat, & to the forge with File & buggy_

27 Wednesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in morn - , plough till dinner, then harrow land, Griffin sift peas in morn - , plough grass land____ George fodder cattle &e in morn - , kill a roaster, to Rob ts with a note & at sundries till dinner, then wash buggy & at sundries___ Self make a pig-trough & about sundry jobs______

28 Thursday. James work Sawmill & pile some lumber, Muldoon about horses & draw some logs to Mill in morn - , then harrow peas & some more land, Griffin sundries in morn - sow some peas, finish plough grass land, then plough a few scrapes in Old Pigfeild S o side, George fodder cattle &e & at sundries in morn - , kill a roaster, & at work in garden____ Self about sundries, till near noon, then to Ottawa in buggy, Anna too___

29 Friday. James work Sawmill & pile some lumber___ Muldoon about horses in morn - then finish harrow peas in grass-land, Griffin sift peas in morn - , sow peas on grass-land, then plough in Old Pigfeild, George fodder cattle &e in morn - , dig out some apple trees at foot of garden & the 2 pannels of fence in middle of do__ _____ Self & Anna got back before dark.

30 Saturday. James work sawmill, at sundries for about 2 hours after breakfast, then saw again____ Muldoon about horses & draw logs to mill in morn - , plough in Old Pigfeild, help down with a small load hay to Cow-loft after dinner, Griffin sundries in morn - , plough in Old Pigfeild, cart hay to Cow-loft at noon, George fodder cattle &e in morn - kill al roaster, wash buggy, to Brewery with horse-cart & about sundries____ Self alter little pigs & at sundries till dinner, slept nearly all afternoon.

James work sawmill, file the saw, pile boards, saw again & repair dam for a little while in even g ___ Muldoon about horses & draw logs to Mill in morn - , plough in Old Pigfeild till dinner, cart a load hay to Horse-loft, then began to plough tatoe land back of George's, Griffin sift peas & roll logs to Mill in morn - , plough in Old Pigfeild, help ring Sows & unload hay after dinner, plough again____ Peter sundries in morn - , roll peas, then cart some earth from back of Church to dam____ George fodder cattle &e, at work for Kate in garden, help ring Sows, kill the last roaster__ Self dress down teeth of millsaw & file it over again, & at sundries___

3 Tuesday. James work Sawmill till noon, burn log-heaps in new land till near 5 o'C. then pile lumber___ Muldoon about horses & draw logs to Mill in morn - , harrow peas in Old Pigfeild & plough tatoe land for a start in even g __ Griffin sundries in morn - , sow peas till near noon, then plough tatoe land, George fodder cattle &e, wheel dung & dig in garden, help shift 6 bags of Rusties from N o 2 busk to N o 1 Cellar___ Self at sundries___

4 Wednesday. James work sawmill till about 4 o'C, cut some tatoes, spread dung & dig below asparagus bed, Muldoon about horses & sundries in morn - , plough tatoe land, Griffin wheel dung into garden in morn - , do do do__ George fodder cattle &e, dig for tatoes & plant some Rusties_ Peter roll peas after dinner___ Self sundries & file both hand-saws.
