dam, George about house &c, saw wood, do some work in
garden____ Welsh making eve peices for dam____

23 Friday. James at repairs about do_ do_ do, Muldoon cut burs
in morn: help at do_ do_ do, & cart stone for it
till dinner, put the sand into morter pan & at sundries,
Griffin thrash wheat in morn:, quarry stone till noon,
then do_ do__, Peter take out a bag of tatoes in
morn:, quarry g till noon, then thrash wheat, George
about house & sundries, began foundation of pies for S o
wood-shed___ Welsh making caps for Mill-dam posts.
Self lowering roof of S o shed & placing center timber on
cedar-blocks____________
24 Saturday. James help put up stone pillar under back
wall-plate of S o woodshed & at sundries,
Muldoon sundries in morn:, draw stone pillar from
N o wood-shed to S o shed, take out tatoes & clean
up wheat, Gr v iffi v n boil tatoes & about house &c till dinner,
then to Aylmer__ Peter take out tatoes, clean up wheat__
Geroge puting up stone pillar of S o woodshed___
Welsh v fit down cups on Mill-dam posts, saw
& jack off boards for steam-box, then to Ottawa___
Self help fix up stone pillar & let down wall-plate___
25 Saturday. Church P.M. Miss Butler returned___

out of Sawmill & away from sheds till dinner,

up with stone piller in morn: thrash oats till dinner,
cart oat down a little load oat-straw & help pry
up workshop__ George boil tatoes for pigs & about
