till near 3 o' C, then saw up 4 oak-logs, Muldoon &

Peter at sundries in morn.., chop hard-wood for 2 or 3 hours,

grind axes, break lane from 2 nd .. gate to bridge & put up

the fences, carry oak plank out of mill, Griffin

saw wood & about sundries, George about cattle &e __

Self at sundries in Sawmill till 3 o' C, rig up a box for

caulie-flowers & about sundry jobs ___

14Sunday. Church A.M. M rs .. Muldoon here since Wednesday morn g .._

15Monday. James work sawmill, Muldoon & Peter about horses

in morn.., chop soft_wood, Griffin about cattle &e,

saw wood & at sundries till dinner, then help at soft-wood,

George after hay for his cow till noon , then at work for me_

Self file soft-wood saw & make the frame lighter by dinner,

then up the township as far as Armitage's___

16Tuesday. James help repair mill-race in morn.., then saw__

Muldoon about horses in morn.., to Benning's for

a load wheat straw & at sundries till dinner, then at

soft_wood, Peter help at horses in morn., chop soft-wood,

Griffin at sundries in morn.., help get the straw & at

sundries till dinner, then at soft-wood, George about

cattle &e, & at sundries ___ Self repair the race in morn,

to Brewery with 3 beam sleigh by land, draw double sleigh

to barn with the horses on my return & about sundries__

repairs & pile boards till aobut 5 o' C, ten saw again_

Muldoon about horses & sundries till near 10 o' C, then

x-cut a stick of timber on the shore & draw it to the

mill by dinner, then dig out stones in 13 Acre_feild,

Griffin help about horses & sundries till near 10 o' C,

help x-cut the stick timber into 3 pieces, & help

dig out stones, Peter at home, George about

cattle &e, prune & nail up the vines & at sundries__

Self cut off & file Dolls fore_shoes, then put slips under

each end of bridge-tree over slide of gig-wheel & at sundries__

23Tuesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in morn..,

in morn.. then repair g .. fam, Geroge about cattle &e,

finish nail up the vines, repair garden fence, dig up

the parsnips___Self repair g .. dam & at sundries__

24Wednesday. James work sawmill, Muldoon about horses in

morn.., cart earth to dam till 11 o' C, then remove

tatoes to old cellar till dinner, cart earth again till

6 o' C, then draw logs to Mill, Peter at home,

Griffin at sundries in morn.., then same as Muldoon__

bark some logs in morn.. pile lumber till dinner,

then at stones in 13 Acre-feild, Peter at home, Griffin at
