clean up creek till dinner, then cart in wheat_ Griffin at creek till dinner, mow peas; George at sundries in garden & about house, Collins make brackets for eve-spout & paint 'em, make ladder for angle of root_____ Self about race & sundries___

5 Thursday. James & Muldoon mow peas & turn peas till dinner, then cart peas, Peter grind & rig up cradle scythe till noon, then cradle wheat till 4½ o'C, then bind & stuke, Griffin turn grind-stone in morn: caulk & tar part of race till 4½ o'C, then bind wheat, George at sundries in garden, help in with peas____ Collin sat sundries in morn:, paint sheep-yard gate, ladder & spout for the roof__ Self finish drive nails in race; rig up cradle twice__

6 Friday. James & Muldoon bind & stuke wheat in morn:, mow peas for a start, do_ do_ again; Peter cradle wheat, mow do_ do_ do_; Griffin bind wheat in morn:, then mow peas__ George weed g raspberrys & about sundries__ Collins paint g till dinner, then patch roof of kitchen &e, roof of Grist & sawmill__ Self laying off axle for ox-cart & refasten the tongue___

7 Saturday. James & Muldoon bind & stuke till dinner, mow peas till near 5 o'C, then draw in peas____ Peter cradle wheat till dinner, then mow peas, Griffin mow peas, George at sundries in garden, & about house; Collins mortice axle for ox-cart, repair tail-board of horse-cart, paint spout for eve__ Self to the force for 2 removes on Major till dinner, had Hamnett with me; then file ripsaw & at sundries__

8 Sunday. Church P.M. Miss Butler brought Godfrey home___ Self rode to Glen's & on to Fred Baskin before dinner via Bessborough & back by high road__

9 Monday. James & Muldoon finish mow peas by 2½ o'C_, bind oats till 4½ o'C, cart in peas, Peter help finish mow peas, cradle, bind & stook oats__ Griffin do_ do, reap, bind &c oats_____
George at sundries in garden & turn peas till dinner, at
do__ do_ do_ & lump up do____ Self finish off Lay wheel-barrow by dinner, rode to O'Neil's round by Rob ts till 4 o'C, then at sundries_____

10 Tuesday. James & Muldoon reap, bind &c oats till dinner, then cart in peas, Peter & Griffin about oats, George at sundries in garden till dinner, lump up peas & help stow them away in barn____ Self rig up a shelf in store-room by dinner, file coarse hand-saw & to Rob ts & Berry's with buggy in even g __

11 Wednesday. James help take up mill stone in morn:, then do_ repair West corner of lower flume__ Muldoon & Peter reap oats in morn:, fork off the load peas, dig out stones above road, grind old axes for a while before dinner, Griffin help at oats in morn: stow away the peas & at sundries till dinner, then at stones above road__ George about cows &e, saw all sorts of wood & at sundries in garden_____ Self take up mill-stone in morn:, repair W. corner lower flume___

12 Thursday. James help repair lower flume till dinner; then at oats, Muldoon & Griffin dig out stones above road till about 11 o'C, then reap &c oats, Peter at the stones till do_ do__ then cradle, reap &c oats, George saw up old race, at sundries in garden & about cows &e____ Self repair g lower flume till dinner, then at sundries & to John Streets & Berrys in buggy in even g _____

13 Friday. James & Muldoon reap & bind oats till dinner, then cart in wheat, Peter cradle, reap & bind oats, Griffin sundries in morn:, turn peas & about oats, Payne reap g oats__ George about sundries in morn:, took a drill out to M r Edwards' & turn peas, then at sundries again_____ Self to Ottawa, Arabella also____
