27 Friday. Self help at repairs about flume,
Muldoon & Peter thrash & clean up peas__ Griffin clean up Barn floor & thrash wheat till 10 o'C, to John Streets for the fat cows till dinner, thrash again, Moran to do_ & saw soft wood in shed after dinner___
Neilly not here, George about house &e, to the Brewery & saw wood___ Collins came about 11 o'C, paint tail-board of cart & wheelbarrow till dinner, then at manger for horses__ Self about flume____

28 Saturday. James cart slabs up from Mill in morn:, then help at repairs about flume, Muldoon & Peter thrash peas till 3 o'C, cart down straw till about 5 o'C, then at tatoes, Griffin ill, butchered calf in even g __
Moran at do_ in morn: thrash wheat till dinner__ at tatoes again, Neilly not here, George about cows &e, & saw wood__ Collins finish make 3d manger, dress up & put mortice in foot of iron-wood pole to go in flume___ Self at repairs about flume____

29 Sunday. Church A.M.

30 Monday. James at tatoes in morn: catch horses & take the foal to Rob ts , cart plough to Woodfeild, cart some roots off pea stubble, then cart up some slabs till dinner, then plough in Woodfeild___
Muldoon, Griffin, Moran & Neilly at tatoes; Peter to Ottawa, George about cows &e, cement coping of garden wall__ Collins make the other mortice in iron-wood pole, put up eve-spout & ladder on roof, repair clap boarding of gran:__ Self finishing off the pole for water-gate of gig-wheel____

OCTOBER 1861.

1 Tuesday. James about horses & sundries in morn: plough in Woodfeild, Muldoon & Neilly at tatoes, Peter at tatoes in morn: at sundries till dinner, then at do_ again, Griffin at tatoes in morn:, help put iron-wood pole into flume & at sundries till dinner, help reset stone steps at hall door & finish taring race__ Moran dig up some roots in pea-stubble till 9 o'C, then at tatoes, George cement g garden wall & reset part of stone stops, about cows &e___ Collins at repairs about Gran: in morn:, altering inside door of ice-house & help at sundries in Sawmill__ Self put iron-wood pole in its place & about bridge-tree for rag-wheel_____

2 Wednesday. James about horses & sundries in morn:, plough in Woodfeild, Muldoon, Peter, Moran & Neilly at tatoes, Griffin at tatoes in morn:, make up little dam & help at repairs in Sawmill till 4 o'C, at tatoes again, George cement g top of 6 try wall, about cows &e___ Self fix bridge tree of rag-wheel; take out water-gate of Gristmill to stop a leak___

3 Thursday. James about horses in morn:, plough in Woodfeild, Muldoon, Peter, Griffin, Moran, Neilly reap, bind & stooke oats_____
George about house &e, cement g & paint g C try
Collins in after breakfast, make a 3 d door for ice-house & do some paint g ____ Self rig up tatoe steamer & about sundry jobs_____

4 Friday. James about horses in morn:, to Bradley's with waggon till near 3 o'C, then plough____ Muldoon reap oats till dinner, cart in a load tatoes & about sundries, Griffin & Moran at oats till dinner, help fill load of tatoes till 5 o'C, at oats again, Peter & Neilly reap oats till dinner, clean up some peas, at oats again, George about house & sundries___ Self to Bradley's forge till dinner, then at sundries____

5 Saturday. James clean out chips &e from Sawmill in morn:, then saw, Muldoon at sundries till noon, then finish plough pea-stubble in Woodfeild, Peter & Neilly thrash oats, Griffin thrash wheat & about sundries, Moran clean out saw-dust from ice-house, drill a stone, pile plank & about sundries, George steam tatoes, & about sundries____ Self at repairs in Sawmill, lay down Mill-stone
