Self to Ottawa yesterday morn.. 7 A.M. and
returned about 8 o 'C, this evening_______
3Sunday. Church A.M. J.H. Pinkey Griffin ½ lb tobacco
came up in his buggy to breakfast, &
brought Mary Sullivan with him_______
4Monday. James mow in morn.., rake up with horse &
help at hay for a start, mow again, Muldoon,
& Peter mow in morn.., make hay & cart it in
till 4 o 'C, then mow, Griffin kill a lamb in morn..,
help at hay till 4 o 'C, then mow, George about cows &e,
help at do_ & at sundries_____ Self help about hay,
drove to the Brewery in even g .. Miss Butler & baby also__
5Tuesday. James & Griffin mow till dinner, then at drain,
Muldoon & Peter help finish mow N o .. side Creek__
_field by dinner, then mow odds &ends; George about
cows &e, at sundries in garden____ Self look about & at
sundries till 6 o 'C, then to Berry 's in buggy for some plaster_____
6Wednesday. James help ring pigs in morn.. at drain for an
hour, then at hay, Muldoon & Peter help ring pigs in
morn.., rake up & turn hay till 4 o 'C, then draw it in____
Griffin at drain till 9 o 'C, then at hay; George about cows
&e, 1 st .. coat a patch in dining room ceiling & sundries____
7Thursday. James & Griffin at drain in Swamp field, Muldoon
& Peter at stumps in same place, George about
cows &e, & at sundries in garden____ Self to Bradley's
forge for a remove on Doll, got back by 2 o 'C to dinner__
8Friday. James & Griffin at drain in Swamp_field;
Muldoon & OPeter at stumps in do_ do__
George about cows &e; saw wood, finish off patch
in dining room ceiling &e about sundries_____
Self to Mrs..Slacks before dinner, then to Berry 's____
9Saturday. James at drain till noon, turn hay till
dinner, at do_ till near 5 o 'C, gather up hay,
Muldoon & Peter at stumps in morn.., hunt
after the heifer I got from Payne till near 4 o 'C,
then carry hay up drain & cart it in, Griffin
at drain till noon, then off home, George about
cows &e, at sundries in garden till dinner, help in
Gristmill a little while, pull wool off two lamb_skins_
Self look about & at act s .. till noon, turn hay till dinner, work
