George about pigs &e till 9 o'C, help in Gristmill
till noon, fill steam-box, split wood_____

13 Thursday. James plough tatoe land, Muldoon draw wood for himself till noon, then to Aylmer, Toollie thrash wheat, Griffin back by the boat, help repair cook g stove till 11 o'C, then help clean & measure up oats, cart down a load wheat straw, Moran help down with oat-straw in morn:, finish gather tatoe tops by 11 o'C, clean & measure up oats, help down with wheat-straw, Teyler at sundries in morn:, finish pile cord-wood by noon, burn tatoe tops & stump piles & began to deepen drain on high road, George about pigs, steam tatoes, mix 'em & about sundries___ Self repair g cook g stove till 11 o'C, then look about things & repair a flail___

14 Friday. James plough till noon, work sawmill, Muldoon & wife to the Chats, Griffin churn in morn:, kill a lamb by 10 o'C, then rig up & plough tatoe land, Toollie thrash wheat till noon, then plough with horses, Moran cart down straw in morn:, draw a few logs into mill, pull some long weeds in garden, then bark sawlogs, Tayler help with straw in morn:, help in with logs to mill, carry a bag flour to the post-office, then help bark logs, George about pigs, steam tatoes & about sundries____ Self look about & at sundries till near 3 o'C, then to M rs Bridges & on to Luton in buggy___

15 Saturday. James about sundries in morn:, work sawmill till noon, help up with porch, help in Gristmill till sunset, at sundries again, Muldoon at sundries in morn:, tried to plough horses, ground too hard, then help at drain, Griffin at sundries in morn:, clean up Old hill drain, clean & measure up wheat, cart to mill & at sundries, Toollie thrash wheat till 10 o'C, then clean it up & about sundries____ Moran & Tayler deepen g drain on high road___ George about pigs &e, put on a steamer of part tatoes (the last) & part turnips, mix it up & at sundries__ Self about sundries till noon, put up porch, work Gristmill__

16 Sunday. Church P.M. Self poorly all day with head-ack__ Jane here to day & yesterday even g .

17 Monday. James shift turnips from cellar to kitchen & carry up washing water in morn:, help in gristmill
till dinner, wheel shaving & chips out of saw-
mill & repair fences, Muldoon help with
turnips & washing water in morn:, then thrash peas,

18 Tuesday. James carry turnips from cellar to kitchen
