27 Monday. James weed carrots in morn:, rake up with horse, make hay & help put away horse-rake; Muldoon & Toolie at carrots in morn; brand up for a start, then
make & house hay, Griffin at sundries & help at hay__ Tom not here; George about cows &e, wash buggy,
help at hay & about sundries____

28 Tuesday. James & Muldoon weed carrots in morn:, make & cart hay till 5 o'C, then branding up; Toolie weed
carrots in morn:, at hay & pull some wild mustard till 4 o'C, then branding up; Griffin kill a lamb in morn:, at sundries & at hay till 5 'C, then branding; Tom not here, George about cows &e, help at hay & sundries in garden

29 Wednesday. James, Toolie & Tom branding up; Muldoon cart slabs from mill-yard in morn:, then stump & brand up with oxen; Griffin off to Aylmer__ Self started for a trip out back, found Doll too lame, stoped talking to Rob t a good while, repaired past of garden fence__

30 Thursday. James at his rode labour; Muldoon cart up slabs in morn:, Toolie & Tom brandg up; Griffin at home; George about cows &e, weed g garden & about sundries____ Self to 2 th Con: Huntly to look at W. ½ of N o 16, Rob t went with me

31 Friday. James, Toolie, Tom stump & brand up; Muldoon cart up slabs in morn: then stump & brand with oxen__ Griffin here, but no work; George about sows &e,
wash buggy & at sundries till 3 o'C, help in Gristmill__ Self about sundries till 3 o'C, then work do__ ____

1 Saturday. James, Toolie, Tom stump & brand up, Muldoon at sundries in morn:, do_ do_ " with oxen__ Griffin stump & brand up till near 6 o'C, then kill a
lamb; George about cows &e, saw wood & at sundries_ Self to the wharf in waggon to meet Constance,
Mary-Anne, John, Hammy &e

2 Sunday. Church A.M.

3 Monday. James turn grind-stone in morn:, then dig out
stumps; Muldoon no work; Toolie grind axes
in morn:, clean up drain in Creekfeild; Griffin
at sundries till 9 o'C; then cut brush; Tom cut g
brush in morn: help clean up drain; George at
home till noon, then weed g garden & at sundries___

4 Tuesday. James to Huntley for lime; Muldoon at his farm; Toolie, Tom dig out stumps; Griffin cut brush__
George about cows &e, at sundries in garden__
Self repair horse-cart in morn:, off to the
forge at 10 o'C, took Miss Butler out & back by 5 o'C__

5 Wednesday. James at stumps with oxen; Muldoon
not here; Toolie, Tom & Griffin at stumps,
George about cows &e, weed in garden &
about sundries___ Self to Ottawa by the boat___

6 Thursday. James at stumps with oxen; Muldoon
not here; Toolie, Tom at stumps till 6 o'C,
then to Wilson's for his boat; Griffin at stumps;
George about cows &e; weed g garden & at sundries__ Self & Hammy returned from Ottawa___

7 Friday. James & Griffin pull boat to Aylmer & back
again by 3 o'C, then to do nothing; Muldoon not here_ Toolie & Tom weed carrots till 3 o'C, bring up
salt from landing & stow it away by 4½ o'C,
at carrots again till 6 o'C, then take Wilson's
boat home: George about cows &e, at sundries in garden_____ Self to Aylmer

8 Saturday. James to Sharp's with the horse-cart I sold him from 9 o'C till 4½ o'C, Muldoon hot here; Toolie
to Aylmer ; Griffin kill a lamb in morn:,
then at stumps; Tom at carrots in morn: then
do_ do_; George about cows &e, weed in
garden & about sundries____
