James plough down dung; Muldoon & Casey cart down some oat-straw in morn: then cart stones; Griffin ill_ Toolie & Tom take out tatoes till noon, then spread dung; George about cows &e, saw wood & about sundries; F renail clap-boards on white barn till about 3 o'C, then at sundries about mills__

3 Saturday. James plough down dung; Muldoon & Casey at tatoes in morn:, then cart stones; Toolie, Tom & Payne take out tatoes & finish spread dung; Griffin ill; George about cows &e, & at sundries in garden; F about railing for gangway over Gristmill wheel____ Self put a cedar prop and other secure the beams for it, & repair some clap-boarding___

4 Sunday. Church P.M. Self took Kate & Baby to Edward's in buggy up lake-road & back again round by Allan's before dinner_

5 Monday. James plough in 12Acre-feild; Muldoon & Casey take out tatoes in morn:, finish cart stones off oat
stubbles in Woodfeild by dinner, then do_ do_ N o side Creekfeild; Toolie came at noon, take out tatoes; Griffin, Tom & Payne take out taotes; George about cows &e, at sundries in garden, boil tatoes for pigs__ F at gangway between mills__ Self put a new stud & repair clap-boarding at E s end of Sawmill__

6 Tuesday. James plough in 12 Acre-feild; Muldoon & Casey finish cart stones off N. side Creekfeild by dinner, then cart stones off fallow, Griffin, Toolie, Payne take out tatoes; George about cows &e, diging garden; F finish railing of gangway & paint it by noon; make 2 caps for post of hen-yard & point some of the posts__ Self finish repair W t end of flume & clap-board it up__

7 Wednesday. James plough in 12 Acre-feild; Muldoon & Casey cart stones off fallow; Griffin at tatoes in morn: then caulk flume; Toolie, Tom & Payne Take out tatoes_ George about cows &e, dig garden; F finish point g posts of henyard & paint gangway between mills by dinner, then paint tops of posts, make 2 more caps & paint the 4____ Self at sundries about sawmill, repair posts & bars of pig-yard__

8 Thursday. James thrash wheat ill about 3 o'C, to the wharf with horse cart for a b l flour, then cart some wood from river for himself__ Muldoon & Tom thrash peas; Toolie thrash wheat; Payne at home_ Casey saw wood in morn:, then out back; Griffin caulk flume & help Self about water-gate of Gristmill; George about cows &e, boil tatoes for pigs, saw wood & at sundry jobs__ F about awl slip for hall door till near 10 o'C, then relay floor of old up stairs__ Self about old up stairs till noon, then at repairs about Gristmill water-gate____

9 Friday. James plough in 12 Acre-feild; Muldoon & Casey cart down a load pea-straw in morn:, then at his
tatoes; Toolie, Tom & Payne take out tatoes; Griffin at
do in morn:, then finish caulk flume, help Self about water-gate of Gristmill; George about cows &e, churn, & at sundries in garden; F finish relay floor of Old up-stairs about 4 o'C, block out bars for No 3 flume ladder__ Self about sundries in morn:, then at repairs about Gristmill water-gate__

10 Saturday. James finish plough in 12 Acre-feild about o'C, then plough pea stubble in 16 do_ do_ S o end____ Muldoon & Casey at his tatoes; Griffin went home
in morn:; Toolie at tatoes till near 9 o'C, then
house corn &4; Payne do in morn:, then cart
stones off fallow; Tom take Griffin a-X in
morn: cart stones off fallow; George help with corn &e_
F at bags for ladder till near 9 o'C, repair kitchen floor by noon, then off home___ Self look about & help at do till near 11 o'C, paint railing at end of sawmill & ox-cart axle, put on 3 caps t hen-yard & paint 'em_

12 Monday. James plough fallow; Muldoon at tatoes in morn:, draw stumps off do_ a-X drain into loging, cart
in a load tatoes, then cart stones off fallow till dinner_ Grifin back, did nothing; Toolie & Casey take out tatoes_ Moran & Tayler at tatoes & take a cow to
Blackmount; George about pigs &e, kill a roaster,
boil a pot tatoes, saw wood & about sundries____
Self put another prop under gangway between mills,
repair floor of back sheep-house, put up Hall pipes___

13 Tuesday. James plough fallow; Muldoon, Casey, Toolie, Moran & Tayler take out tatoes; Griffin kill a lamb in morn:, about drain in clothes-yard & take out some tatoes in garden; George about pigs &e, kill a roaster, boil a pot tatoes, saw wood & help pick up tatoes in garden_____ Self about sundries in morn:, make a pipe of 2 inch plank for the drain in clothes-yard, put 3 caps on hen-yard posts, & one on sheep-yard gate post___
