12 Thursday. James to Aylmer; Muldoon sundries in morn:, at drain till dinner, then help in Gristmill; Tooly, Casey, Moran at sundries in morn:, at road drain till about 3 o'C, then began drain close to woods, Griffin about pigs &e, steam tatoes, wash the doz. grain bags, mix pigs food__ George at home___ Self at sundries till dinner, work Gristmill_

13 Friday. James help butcher cow till dinner, boil a pot tatoes, & about sundries; Muldoon about sundries & help about cow till 10½ o'C, then at drain; Tooly, Moran & Casey about sundries in morn:, then at drain; Griffin about pigs &e in morn:, butcher cow till noon, then off to get his trousers mended; George at home;___ Self help a little about cow; file & set rip-saw in afternoon_____

14 Saturday. James about sundries in morn:, saw down the cow; help cut it up & salt by dinner; then mix pigs food &e; Muldoon at sundries till dinner, cart down a load pea-straw, then to Brewery with horse-cart; Griffin about pigs & till noon, then to Aylmer; Tooly thrash peas till dinner, then wheat___ Moran thrash peas; Casey saw & split wood, help with pea-straw; George at home___ Self weigh & cut up beef by noon; then about sundries & file the hard-woodsaw__
