19Saturday. James about horses & at the drain; Tooly at drain;

Hogan at drain about 11 o 'C, Griffin back by the

Boat, only sawed some wood in even g ..; George about

pigs &e, steam tatoes & about sundries_____

Self back by the Boat, nailing zink on roof of porch

till dinner, then on foot to Monahan's about

a cow, returned a-x then clearance's, Hamnett with me___

21Monday. James about horses in morn.., at drain till dinner,

help put up porch; Tooly & Hogan at do_; Griffin saw

wood, mix up some mortar & point work_shop & about sundries;

George about pigs &e, steam tatoes & about sundries____

Self about sundries till dinner, then put up the porch___

22Tuesday. James about horses in morn.., washing bags till dinner,

help put up 6 double windows, remove some tatoes from

cellar for pigs; Tooley at drain in morn.., thrash Blk.. Sea;

Hogan at drain in morn.., thrash peas; Griffin ill;

George about pigs &e, help about store_pipes & double windows,

help shift tatoes;_____ Self about do_ do_ do_ do_ ____

23Wednesday. James about horses in morn.., cart down a load pea_straw,

wheel saw_dust out of ice_house, then pull down the

inside roof & wheel out the old bark; Tooly thrash Blk.. Sea;

Hogan thrash peas till about 3 o 'C, then help clean ‘em up;

Griffin saw wood in morn.., help down with pea_straw;

saw slabs & help carry logs out of ice_house till dinner, then

to Berry 's with fluid kom, clean & measure up peas; George about

pigs &e, steam tatoes, cut turnips & about sundries____

Self at sundries & to Berry's till dinner, file heavy wood_saw & at sundries___

24Thursday. James about horses & sundries in morn.., finish wheel rubbish

out of ice_house about 9½ o 'C, then to the woods to split & pile some

soft_wood out last Spring; Tooly thrash Bl k .. Sea; Hogan cart

some hardwood Lake_road house in morn.., thrash peas;

Griffin saw slabs in morn.., clean out clothes_yard

privy & close it up again; George about pigs &e,

help at do_, saw slabs & clean out hen_house______

Self cover in privycistern & repair clothes_yard gate__

25Friday. James about horses & saw wood in morn.., pile the

wood he split yesterday by dinner, then draw wood

for George ; Hogan thrash peas, Tooly thrash wheat

till near 9 o 'C, help at little_yard privy & wash wheel_

_barrows till noon, thrash again; Griffin saw hard_

_wood in morn.., clean out little privy by dinner,

then help get in wood for George ;

in morn.., cart down a load pea_straw & about

sundries till dinner, help in Gristmill; Tooley thrash

wheat; Hogan thrash, peas; Griffin saw wood & help

with tatoes in morn.., help with pea_straw, saw wood &

about sundries; George about pigs &e, steam tatoes

& cut turnips_____ Self about sundries till noon, then grind

start, clean up peas & wheat; Tooly at home;

Griffin at Mr.. Read's Tom came after breakfast, help

clean up peas & wheat; George about pigs &e, take

out some of the parsnips & about sundries____

Self put in stone_room double window, file coarse hand_saw__

29Tuesday. James about horses in morn.., help butcher till dinner,

then help in Gristmill; Tooley at home; Griffin cart

wheat & peas to do_ in morn.., butcher the heifer by

dinner, wash out the barn, saw hardwood; Tom help

down with wheat & peas in morn.., help about the

heifer till 11 o 'C, then at sundries; George about pigs &e,

steam tatoes, take out last of parsnips____ Self work Gristmill after dinner_

30Wednesday. James about horses in morn.., work Sawmill; Tooley

at home; Tom saw wood & carry tatoes from cellar

for pigs, dig about apple_treas, help carry down & weigh

beef; Griffin at sundries in morn.., saw down, help cut up

& salt beef by dinner, scrape chips together at end of Kitchen;

George about pigs &e, steam tatoes, dig the long asparagus bed ___
