16 Tuesday. James about horses in morn - , rig up bob-sleighs,

draw in 14 logs in 7 trips, repair drinking place & do up

all the horses, Muldoon help with horses in morn - fix

road past dam, put some slbs out of the way, edge up

his ax, then cut force logs, George about cattle &c,

saw wood, Payne thrash wheat, Griffin ill, went home after dinner

Self in house all day___ Con - ', Emily & John up soon after dark

17 Wednesday. James about horses in morn - draw 15 logs in 7 trips,

Muldoon help with horses in morn - , cut fence logs,

George about cattle &c, saw wood, Payne finish thrash

wheat by dinner, then off home____ Self in house all day.

18 Thursday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn - edge ax

fall & prepared for X-cut g , do up horses at night,

George about cattle &c, saw wood, Payne not here___

Griffin came at dark, deliver Cow of calf after tea___

Self went out for meat after dinner, point & set X-cut___

19 Friday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn - , lay up 18 logs__

George about cattle &c & saw wood, help clean up oats

for a while ^ in afternoon, Griffin & Payne saw wood

in morn - , clean up wheat, put it it Mill & at sundries

till dinner, then clean up oats___ Self out for an

hour or so before dinner, & out about sundries all afternooon___

20 Saturday. James about horses in morn - , draw 17 logs in 8 trips,

saw some porch wood, do up horses, Muldoon help

with horses in morn - , help with oats to Gran - , 1 load hay

for oxen, 4 loads straw & about sundries, Georbe about

cattle & sundries, Griffin saw wood in morn - , draw

down hay & straw & about sundries___ Payne not here__

Self sundries & to berry's till dinner, file X-cut, sundries again__

21 Sunday. Self took ill, confined to house with bad headach__
