5 Friday. James about horses in morn - draw in Sawlogs till
dinner, then draw down hay & about sundries,
Muldoon help about horses in morn - , then cut fence logs,
Geor v ge ill at home, Griffin about cattle &c, &
help down with hay___ Self got up & shaved___
6 Saturday. Jam v es about horses in morn - then at wood for
himself, Muldoon help about horses, cut fence logs,
George about cattle &c, & saw wood, help at grave yard,
Griffin about house & sundries, help at grave-yard__
Self got up about dinner time____
Ham, Charley & John up to bury little Herbert Hill,
they dined here, Ham & John return d in even g __
7 Sunday. Church A.M. John came up for Charley
8 Monday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn - &
even g grind axes, fall & X-cut 15 Sawlogs,
George about catlle &c, saw wood___

hind shoes remov d & a fore shore remov d on Dart,
got back at 4½ o 'C put away prov d & at sundries,

George about cattle &c, help for a start at ice____
Griffin sundries till 9 o 'C, then saw ice_______
Self got up soon after 7 o 'C______
12 Friday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn - , then
fall & X-cut 20 Sawlogs, George about cattle
&c till about 3½ o 'C, then draw ice, Griffin split
wood in morn - , saw ice till dinner, break rode
to ice house with the oxen, then load ice house____
Self got up soon after 7 o 'C, went down stairs
yesterday even g for an hour or so, & to day most of afternoon__
13 Saturday. James & Muldoon about horses in morn - then
lay up 20 Sawlogs, George about cattle &c, draw
up ice till dinner, then saw & split wood, Griffin
saw wood in morn - , load ice house till dinner, then
chop a few junks dry pine & split & saw wood____
Self up soon after 7 o 'C. came down to dinner & remained down__
14 Sunday. Church P.M. M rs Greene, Kate & children in 3 seated
sleight to Rob ts , John streets & home by Allan's & lake road,
Rob t & Anna here after Church, M rs Green went to Alicia__
15 Monday. James about horses, draw in 20 Sawlogs, Finis__
Muldoon help about horses, then at ice till about 5 o 'C
George about cattle &c, help at ice about 2 hours,
Griffin sundries in morn - at ice till about 5 o 'C.
Self down to breakfast____

straw to cow-loft, lay up fence logs till dinner,
then about sundries, Muldoon help about horses in
morn - help with straw & fence logs, then thrash oats,
