split hardwood junks & help load dung till dinner,
then saw, Muldoon horses & sundries in morn.., harrow
oats back of Wh t.. barn about 3 ½ o 'C, then cart dung,
Taylor saw wood in morn.., cart dung, Griffin kill a
roaster in morn.., sow oats, help load dung & about
sundries, George about cattle & e, dig for Con.. in garden.
Self repair g __ [hew]yard fence, & at sundry jobs____
12Wednesday. James at home till dinner, then work Sawmill,
Muldoon about horses in morn.., cut
Cups till dinner, cart dung with oxen, Tayler at
sundries in morn.. then off to fix his house, Griffin
saw wood & help T. Baskin across in morn.., cut Cups
till dinner, help load dung & about sundries, George
about cattle & e, repair g.. garden fence, dig for Con's tatoes.
Self repair pully of passage door, put up ash barrel___
13Thursday. James at home, Muldoon about horses & roll
logs to Mill in morn.., cart dung to
12 Acrefield, 10 load of it from back door, Tayler roll
log to Mill in morn.., cart dung with oxen,
Griffin roll logs to Mill in morn.., help load dung,
George about cattle&e, plant g .. Con's tatoes_____
Self at home till 11 o 'C. then to the forge & to Gourley's
14Friday. James at home, Muldoon about horses & cut
cups in morn.., cart dung with Spring till
dinner, then with Poll, Tayler help pile boards
in morn.. cart dung with oxen, Griffin pile do__
& help load the carts, George about cattle &e,
plant corn & tatoes for Constance____ Self at
sundries till near 5 o 'C. then to John Streets &e___
15Saturday. James work sawmill & help load dung, Muldoon
about horses in morn.., cart dung with Poll,
Tayler cart dung with oxen, Griffin load dung
till about 10 o 'C, then help pull boat to Aylmer ,
George about house, hoe the paths___ Self to
Aylmer in Rob ts boat, W m Berry also_____
16Sunday. Self & Berry wind_bound all night, got back
to his wharf about sunset thus even g ___
17Monday. James work sawmill till about 11 o 'C, then spread
dung, Muldoon about horses & sundries in morn..,
then plough for tatoes in 12 Acre_field, Tayler
cart 1 load hay to Cow_loft & at sundries in morn..,
finish cart dung about 6 o 'C, then spread dung,
Griffin help down with hay, load dung, help in
Gristmill & about sundries; George to Ottawa
with J. Pinhey___ Self about sundries & grind Prov d ..
18Tuesday. James spread dung, Muldoon about horses &
sundries in morn, spread dung till 11 o 'C, then
plough in 12 Acre_field, Tayler not here, Griffin
spread dung in morn.., then plough for tatoes,
George about house &e, sow peas & parsnips from Jewning's.
Self file soft wood saw, rig up shovel handle & e____
19Wednesday. James finish spread dung 5 o 'C, then filing
mill_saw, Muldoon about horses & spread dung
in morn.. plough for tatoes, Tayler not here,
George about house&e, sow beans at foot of gardens,
Self make 3 tea_chests into hen_coupes & about sundries___
20thursday. James saw till dinner, then draw wood
for himself, Muldoon about horses in morn..,
cut tatoes till noon , then finish plough for tatoes,
Tayler & Griffin cut tatoes, George about sundries__
Self look about things till dinner, then to Ottawa__
21Friday. James work sawmill, open drills, Muldoon
about horses in morn.., harrow about ½ of tatoe
land & plant tatoes, Tayler & Griffin cut do
till dinner, then plant tatoes, George about house &e__
22Saturday. James cut tatoes in morn.. finish harrow
tatoes land, then open drills, Muldoon about
horses in morn.. plant tatoes, Tayler & Griffin
at tatoes___ George sundries & after John in Con's buggy_
23Sunday. Church P.M. Self returned wolh Ham's horse
& Rochester 's buck_board, Charles also_____
24Monday. James saw till dinner, finish open drills
Muldoon about horses in morn.., cut tatoes till dinner,
then plant, Tayler & Griffin cut tatoes till dinner,
then plant, George about house, saw wood & at sundries.
Self look about till noon , then to Ottawa by land road___
