6.Sunday. Church P.M. George returned without

John yesterday even g .. he came round on foot__

7Monday. James saw till near breakfast, then home ill,

Muldoon sundries in morn.., in woods with

oxen looking after a crotch till dinner, then at

drain, Tayler sundries in morn.. then at drain,

Griffin about house in morn.. then at drain__

George to Ottawa with John__ Self in

woods hunting after a crotch till dinner, then at sundries.

8Tuesday. James saw in morn.. took Toll to the horse, saw

again & at sundries, Muldoon, Tayler at drain,

Griffin sundries in morn.., shear sheep__

George about house, at work in garden & at

sundries___ Self put away the wool & at sundries__

9Wednesday. James work sawmill, put in new post at the

bars going in to 12 Acrefeild at George's house

& do some repairs to the fence till dinner, then

in woods for a junk of maple for axles___

Muldoon, Tayler, Griffin at the drain___

George plant some snows in garden & do some weeding__

Self at post & fences up at Mae's till dinner, then in

woods all afternoon looking piece maple for axles__

10Thursday. James saw & at sundries till dinner, then sweep

out thrash g .. floor of white barn & new log barn,

then saw again, Muldoon at drain in morn.., grind g ..

axes till dinner, then clean out sheep house, Tayler

not here till breakfast, then grind axes & clean out

Sheep-house, Griffin at drain in morn.., turn over

the potatoes, clean down Cow_loft & at sundries___

George about house & sundries___ Self put on

a bolt to out side Cellar door, help mix par for Pigs_

11Friday. James work sawmill, Muldoon draw logs to

Mill in morn.., turn water out of creek up

at woods till dinner, then at sundries & in woods

after crotches, Tayler & Griffin help in with

logs to Mill in morn.., turn water out of

creek till dinner, then granny part of creek

& some of the drain, George sundries in garden &

to Streets for flower plants till dinner, then

plant them & about sundries____ Self about sundries

& to Lay's before dinner, look to heifer & in woods after crotchs._

12Saturday. James saw till dinner, then pile boards & at

sundries, Muldoon, Tayler granny drain till

about 3 o 'C. then go on with the digging, Griffin at

Wilson's, George about house & sundries till 10 o 'C.

then with buggy to meet John____ Lay

a double hen coup & help repair mill dam gate__

Self at sundries till dinner, then repair do do___

13Sunday. No Church, M r Buttler at Toronto_Self not well_

14Monday. James saw, Muldoon & Tayler sundries in

morn.., then at drain, Griffin about house in

morn.., then widen & clean up drain from the

woods towards lake road house, George to Otta_

_wa with John___ Self poorly till afternoon,

then wash out beerkeg, mix whiskey, put 2 hoops on 3 g l keg

15Tuesday. James to Aylmer , Muldoon, Tayler finish

drain between between lake road & creek, Griffin at

drain back of lake_road house till noon , then

help finish the drain from road to creek___

George about house, stick peas, replant corn___

Lay make feeding coupe & lid for ham_ box___

Self to Rob ts corner with Toll, look about things__

16Wednesday. James no work, Muldoon, Tayler clear

away logs &e to make a piece of drain

N o side creek till dinner then began drain.

Griffin about house & put charley across in morn..,

to A. Smiths for the sledge, quarry creek___

George ill at home__. Self look about things,

& picket off drain by dinner, repair garden fence__

17Thursday. James after a cow, Muldoon at drain in

morn.., roll oats back of White barn by dinner,

then at scotch wheat in 16 Acrefeild, Tayler at

drain, Griffin about house & to 13 recovery in morn..,

then help finish drain N o side creek___

George ill____ Self look about things &

weigh up wool till dinner, then at

sundries & measure off some of M r Read's

sawed lumber____
