James about horses in morn - , grind axes till dinner, then draw in 2 load soft-wood, Muldoon fodder cattle &e, then clean up wheat, saw wood, Griffin thrash wheat in morn - , help clean up wheat & about sundries, Rider sundries in morn - help grind axes till dinner, then chop soft-wood___ George ill at home___ Self to Ottawa with double sleigh____

1 Tuesday. James about horses in morn - draw in 4 load hardwood, Muldoon & Rider about sundries in morn - , then fall & X-cut 13 Sawlogs, Griffin thrash wheat till about 10 o'C, then gave up ill__ George fodder cattle &e, saw wood till dinner, mix a bin of wheat, empty yesterday's wheat, do up the things____ Jay at work here yesterday, he finished store-room table & began clothes horse____ Self taking handles out of axes till dinner, then file Muldoon's X-cut, finished it by candle light_____

2 Wednesday. James about horses in morn-, then help fall & X-cut 24 Sawlogs_, Muldoon & Rider measure up wheat & load sleigh in morn-, then fall & X-cut 24 Sawlogs__ Griffin to Aylmer , George about house &e__ Self to Ottawa Sus a Brown came at night__

3 Thursday. James about horses in morn-, then make roll-way, Muldoon & Rider at sundries in morn-, help make rollway & lay up 6 logs__ Griffin in Aylmer, George about cattle &e, Jay came some time after breakfast & finished clothes-horse by dinner, then off home__ Self putting handles in axes till dinner, then measure boards, weigh flour & stow it away___

4 Friday. James about horses in morn - , cut road to rollway, Muldoon & Rider draw a load hardwood from barn in morn - , then help out road to rollway, Griffin at home, George fodder cattle &e, about house &e____ Self put new hinges on back door & move the bolt by dinner, burn Filo's mouth, then to T. Read's & Berry 's______

5 Saturday. James about horses in morn-, finish cut road to rollway, then fall & prepare Sawlogs. Muldoon & Rider abot sundries in morn-, lay up 22 Sawlogs,
