about oak till a late dinner, then to Aylmer___

28 Wednesday. James about horses in morn:, harness horses &

load sleigh, split g oak till about 5 o 'C, then

chop soft-wood, Muldoon fill up his wheat

in morn:, draw home oak by 4 o 'C, then lay up draw down

straw, cedars , Peter sundries in morn: help split oak,

chop soft-wood, Griffin finish thrash wheat by

noon, then clean it once, __ Payne help at oak

with his oxen, help down with 2 load oat-straw__

George about cattle &c, help clean up wheat____

Self to Ottawa with Muldoon's wheat____

29 Thursday. James about horses in morn: to A_Smith's for

2 chains, draw in fence-logs, Muldoon help

3 o 'C, then lay up cedars, peter sundries in morn:, chop

soft-wood till 4 o 'C, help lay up cedars, Griffin

thrash oats, run wheat 2 nd time & put it away by

hay to Cow-loft, George about cattle &c, help run the

wheat 2 nd time & stow it away___ Payne help
