26 Thursday. James at stumps in morn:, turn grindstone for a start, then wash & varnish buggy harness by dinner, at stumps again, Muldoon & Peter cart stones off fallow in morn:, grind Frou's ax till dinner, at stones again, Griffin at stumps in morn:, wash horse cover & at sundries till dinner, at stumps again___ George about cows &e, saw wood & about sundries___

27 Friday. James at stumps in morn: then rake up & make hay, Muldoon, Peter cart stones off fallow in morn:, make hay till 10 o'C, then draw in___ Griffin at stumps in morn:, then at hay__ George about cows &e, help at hay from noon__ Self repair g a table in morn:, then attend to hay__

28 Saturday. James quill & dress down hay in Cow-loft &e, in morn:, harrow fallow, help finish carry creek hay to fence & put away horse-rake &e___ Muldoon, Peter cart stones off fallow in morn:, rake up hay among stumps in Woodfeild & carry hay from about the batterry till, then cart hay, Griffin help fix off hay in Cowloft &e in morn:, then help at hay____ George about cows &e, help at hay about half the day___ Self at sundries till about 11 o'C, then help at hay____

30 Monday. James at sundries in morn:, plough fallow__ Muldoon draw 3 stones off fallow in morn:, draw wood for George till 3½ o'C, then at stumps, Peter help get big stones off fallow & fill up the holes in morn:, then at stumps, Griffin ill__ George ill___ Self

31 Tuesday. James drill a stone in morn:, plough fallow till dinner, at stone for about two hours, plough again, Muldoon not here__ Peter at stumps, Griffin mow thistles in lane in morn:, at sundries till dinner, then at stumps, George about cows &e, saw wood, weed g garden & about sundries__ Tho s Smith, Alex d Glenny, Watt view g crops__

3 Friday. James, Muldoon, Peter, Griffin at stumps with the oxen, George about cows &e, weeding in garden & at sundries___ Collins finish gate about 5 o'C, then nail slips on upper end of long cattle shed____

4 Saturday. James, Muldoon, Peter, Griffin at stumps with oxen & cart, George about cows &e, at sundries till dinner, help in Gristmill & at do__ again___ Collins cover pig-shed in Gran:-feild with slabs, then nail slips on back of long cattle shed___ Self at sundries till dinner, work Grist-mill till 5 o'C, then to Rob ts in Buggy___
