James at sundries in morn:, then catch horses & poke about horse-cart wheels & waggon till noon, then to William's with Barber plough in horse-cart_ Muldoon, Peter fillg up stump-holes, Griffin cut & pile brush, then do_ _ _ do _ _ do_ George about cows &e, weed garden & at sundries__ Collins came about noon, rip & nail slips on W st cattle shed & began to squ r up cedar posts __ Self to William's in buggy__

7 Tuesday. James fill in stump-holes in morn:, in woods till dinner after cedars for posts, at stump-holes
again, Muldoon at stump-holes & draw in 2 trips
of cedars, Peter, Griffin at stump-holes____
George about cows &e, Collins squ r up posts in morn:, make frame to nail wine on for back window of hen-house, then began large gate for sheep-yard__ Self nail wine on the frame, clean up new saddle__

8 Wednesday. James, Muldoon, Peter, Griffin fill in stump-holes till about 11 o'C, then at stumps, George about cows &e____ Collins finish gate at noon, then at sundries & squ r up posts__

9 Thursday. James help look over sheep & at sundries in morn:, at stumps till dinner, about sheep-yard gate till 6 o'C, at do_ again, Muldoon at stumps, Peter help catch sheep in morn:, then at do__, Griffin do__ do__ do__, at stumps till dinner, then dig holes for posts of sheep-yard gate____ George about cows &e, & at sundries about garden & house___ Collins at posts & cap peice till dinner, then began small gate____ Self about sundries till dinner, began to rig up sheep-yard gates____

10 Friday. James help about gate posts in morn:, at stumps till dinner, at do__ do_ again, Muldoon at stumps, Peter at stumps till dinner, help at rising gate posts till 6 o'C, then at stumps again, Griffin at stumps till noon, then to Aylmer__
George about cows &e, carry up water to wash blankets, wash buggy & about sundries____ Collins about psts for Sheep-yard gate &e till dinner, help rise 'em & about small gate___ Self leveling for gate posts in morn:, at repairs about buggy till dinner, then rigging up gate-posts of Sheep-yard__

11 Saturday. James help rig up do__ do__ do__ do__, Muldoon, Peter at stumps, Griffin at home____ George about cows &e, saw wood & at sundries in garden____ Collins about posts & small gate____ Self rigging up the 3 do__ for the 2 gates__

12 Sunday. Church P.M. Miss Butler went home with her mother yesterd y even g & return d this after n ____

13 Monday. James at sundries till dinner, then at home__ Muldoon & Peter grindg scythes & axes till near 6 o'C, then X-cut both halves of the big oak butt____ Griffin not here___ George about cows &e, & saw dry pine in shed___ Self about sundries____

14 Tuesday. James at funeral of his brother John's child_ Muldoon, Peter mow peas in Old Pigfeild, Griffin came back, did nothing___ George about cows &e, do some weeding in garden & about sundries___ Collins put a brace on small gate, make posts for garden gate___ Self put a sill to small gate-way of sheep-yard___

15 Wednesday. James saw a large log into scant g cart a load nails & 2 load stones to top of Old hill by dinner, dig holes for posts of green gate______ Muldoon, Peter, Griffin finish mow peas in Old Pigfeild, George about cows &e, weed in garden till dinner, gut burs in 12 Acre-feild &e___ Collins at posts &e for garden fence____ Self look about till dinner, take down green gate &e___

16 Thursday. James fix g posts of garden gate & finish fix gate-post of Sheep-yard, Muldoon mow peas in Barnfeild till dinner, help grind scythe till dinner, grind g &e cradle scythe till 4½ o'C, then cradle wheat, Griffin mow peas till dinner, dig a hole for garden fence & at sundries about it till 6 o'C_ then bind wheat, George about cows &e, weed garden, churn & at sundries, Collins footing posts, tonn t 3 set rails & paint several boards_____ Self rig g up do__ for garden gate & fence
